Recycled Flight Disc Golf Course

Lancaster’s newest recreational gem, Recycled Flight Disc Golf Course, offers players of all skill levels a truly one-of-a-kind experience. Nestled in Memorial Park, this 9-hole course stands out with its custom-built scrap metal baskets, each handcrafted by local artist Roger Krantz at West End Salvage.

These stunning sculptures are more than just functional, they’re a creative celebration of recycling, community, and craftsmanship. Each basket has a name chosen by Lancaster’s own 5th-grade students, so be sure to check out the winning names that bring personality and story to every hole.

Deputy Clerk/Treasurer Aja Taylor shares the vision, “Our goal is to build awareness, attract players of all ages, and position the course as a destination for both sport and creativity.” The course is open to the public and offers a scenic, family-friendly environment perfect for practicing your throws or enjoying a relaxing day outdoors.

No discs? No problem! Schreiner Memorial Library offers disc rentals for checkout. Stop by and borrow a set before heading to the course, perfect for new players or anyone wanting to give disc golf a try without buying equipment.
