2025 Tree Replacement Program

The City of Lancaster has received a grant from the Douglas and LuAnne Pink Family Charitable Endowment and the Lancaster Community Fund for tree replacement on City of Lancaster residential yards.

This program will benefit city residents by replacing lost trees over the years.  The funds are available to any Lancaster property owner who desires a tree whether one was lost or not.

Homeowners are responsible for 25% of the cost; the grant given to the city will cover the remaining 75%.

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE APRIL 30th

Funding for the program is limited, and participation is on a first-come first-served basis!

We estimate that approximately 40-50 private residents will be able to receive trees.

Please include your phone or email information on your application, which is below inside the "Tree 2025 Brochure/Application".

The City will contact you with a pickup date and time in May.

The Right of Way is only necessary if you plan to plant between curb and sidewalk.
