Utility Payment Options


Cash, Check, or Money Order.
 Make payable to the City of Lancaster.  Payments may be dropped off to our office Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. After-hours payments may be placed in our secure drop box located next to the front entrance of City Hall.  If mailing, send to 206 S. Madison St., Lancaster, WI 53813.  Please allow sufficient time for payments to be delivered on or before the 20th of the month.  There is no fee for this service.

Automatic Payment Withdrawal / ACH (Automated Clearing House).  Authorize automatic transfers from a checking or savings account by filling out the Automatic Payment Agreement form.  Payments are pulled from your account on the 20th of the month for the balance due. These automatic payments are handled in-house, which allows us to cancel, change, or modify at any time at your request.  Paper bills will continue to be sent to you at the beginning of the month.  There is no fee for this service. 

* Be sure to cancel any recurring payments set up through PSN prior to setting up automatic payments with the City of Lancaster (instructions below).


Online or Phone Payments via Payment Service Network (PSN).
  Pay online or via phone through PSN.  Click "Pay Online" or call 1‑877‑885‑7968.  You will need to have your account number in order to complete the transaction.  Payments may be made 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.  
The following non-refundable convenience fees will apply on all payments made through PSN*:

      • Credit / Debit Card and PayPal Payments. 3% fee per transaction, plus $0.50 for transactions less than $100.

      • eChecking / eSavings Account Payments. $1.10 fee per transaction.

      • Recurring Payments.  Per transaction fee based upon payment type shown above.  Note: modification of recurring payments set up through PSN, must be modified through PSN’s online portal or by contacting PSN customer service at 1-877-885-7968.

 *  Additional fee of $0.95 will apply to payments made via PSN’s automated phone system, or $2.95 to payments made over the phone with a live PSN representative.

These fees are paid directly to the credit card vendor.  The City of Lancaster does not receive any portion of these fees.
